It's Oscar night and Matthew has enlisted his best friend Vincent, a struggling writer, to help entertain his super-rich new boyfriend Luke. Vincent thinks his ailing friend's perfect boyfriend is literally too good to be true. But what if Luke is not only Matthew's last chance for love, but also his best chance for survival?

Evan Smith's play SERVICEMEN was produced by the New Group in 2001. His plays PSYCH and THE UNEASY CHAIR were produced by Playwrights Horizons, THE ECSTASY OF LUCY by The Home for Contemporary Theatre at H. E. R. E., and DIANA LOVES YOU as a part of the Lincoln Center Directors' Lab. He is the recipient of a Whiting Award and a graduate of the Yale Drama School.
