samantha estrella is an afro-latina director and producer who holds bernarda’s daughters close to her heart, with immense gratitude to dominique rider for the opportunity and embrace. most recently having been a directing observer for awoye timpo on elyria at atlantic theatre company, previous environments of collaboration + growth include the cell theatre, watermark productions, national alliance of musical theatre, fort worth opera, and more. samantha received her bfa in directing from the university of michigan, and is a current member of wingspace theatrical design’s mentorship cohort.
