Alscott Worrell is a writer and filmmaker originally from Virginia Beach, VA. Previously an education administrator, Alscott transitioned to a full time career in film. His love for writing introduced him to the many aspects of filmmaking, allowing him to serve in multiple capacities on the set of productions. Alscott has written, produced and starred in two original short films, Risk and Everything’s Fine. He’s currently developing a series that focuses on the platonic and romantic relationships between Black queer men. Alscott resides in Los Angeles, CA. He continues to build his production company, 1990 Productions which covers production needs for all, focusing on LGBTQ+ content.
