Theater work includes: The Fifth of July (Signature Theater), HurlyBurly (New Group), and The Realistic Joneses (Yale Rep).  Some of Parker’s films include Party Girl, Dazed and Confused, The Daytrippers, You’ve Got Mail, Best in Show, Blade Trinity, Josie and the Pussy Cats,  Faye Grimm, Broken English and Irrational Man.  She won a special award for acting at Sundance for her portrayal as Jackie O in The House of Yes.  Some television highlights include “As the World Turns,” “The Good Wife,” an arc on “Louie,” and most recently her turn as Freda Black on “The Staircase.” She also played Dr. Smith in Netflix’s reboot of “Lost in Space,” which can be read in her memoir You’re on an Airplane.  Upcoming work includes “The Parenting,” a series reboot of “Mr. and Mr. Smith,” and Ari Aster’s film Beau is Afraid. Ms Posey attended the SUNY Purchase acting program.
