Need to contact someone at The New Group? Email tickets@thenewgroup.org or call 917-935-4242. Our virtual box office hours are Tuesday-Thursday 1-6pm and Saturday 2-6pm. Email and Voicemail are checked daily. The box office is available for in-person same night purchasing and will-call one hour before every performance.

How do I purchase tickets?

ONLINE at thenewgroup.org

BY PHONE by calling The New Group Box Office at 917-935-4242  (Tuesday – Thursday,  1PM – 6PM).

IN-PERSON (when in production) at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street) beginning 60 minutes prior to each performance.

The New Group is the authorized seller of tickets. The New Group can’t assist with tickets purchased from a third-party.

If I cannot come to the show, can I exchange my tickets or be refunded?

October 2023: Subscribers may exchange tickets free-of-charge up to 48 hours before the originally scheduled performance (pending availability). This courtesy can be utilized two times per patron, and exchanges requested within 48 hours cannot be accommodated.

Single tickets may be exchanged for a fee of $5 per ticket up to 72 hours before the originally scheduled performance (pending availability). This courtesy can is not guaranteed, and exchanges requested within 72 hours cannot be accommodated.

Unless stated, thenewgroup.org is the authorized seller of tickets to all The New Group productions and digital events. The New Group cannot assist with tickets purchased from a third-party seller.

The New Group reserves the right to amend or discontinue these ticketing policies at any time. All ticket sales and membership sales are final.

Where do New Group productions take place? How do I get there?

All New Group productions for the 2023-24 Season will take place at The Pershing Square Signature Center.

There are curb cuts at the corner of Dyer Avenue and 42nd Street and 10th Avenue and 42nd Street. There is not a curb cut directly in front of The Pershing Square Signature Center.

When do tickets go on sale?

Tickets for our productions go on sale to the public approximately 4-6 weeks before the first performance, and subscribers receive a priority booking period of about 2 weeks before tickets go on sale.

 

Do you have specific COVID safety protocols for audience members?

June 29, 2023. Masks are not required for for audiences attending productions in our 2023 – 2024 Season. We will provide additional updates to these policies if they become necessary.

Guests are welcome to continue wearing masks at all performances. We will provide additional updates to these policies as they continue to change and evolve.

When are your performances?

The typical performance schedule is Tuesday – Friday at 7:30pm, Saturday at 2pm & 8pm and Sunday at 2pm.

 

What happens if I can't remember my log-in information?

Try using the “Reset Password” link on the main log-in page.

If that doesn’t work and you need further help logging into your account, please contact The New Group Box Office at tickets@thenewgroup.org.

 

Are there group rates offered for New Group productions?

The New Group does offer special rates for regular and student groups of 10 or more. Email tickets@thenewgroup.org for more information.

Is The Pershing Square Signature Center wheelchair accessible?

Yes. The Pershing Square Signature Center is wheelchair accessible and restrooms are located on the same level. A limited number of accessible seats are available for each performance. Please inform the box office at the time of purchase about any special needs, or select an accessible seat when purchasing online. Click here for more information about accessibility.

What happens in the event of inclement weather?

Time permitting, we will notify all of our patrons via phone if we must cancel a show due to inclement weather. Since weather conditions can change drastically throughout the day, The New Group recommends that patrons monitor their e-mail, call The New Group Box Office at 917-935-4242, or check Facebook or Twitter @TheNewGroupNYC just before leaving their home for any last-minute updates.

Do you have shows for children?

No, most shows at The New Group are intended for theatergoers 16 and older because of the adult content.

Can I get food or beverages at the theater?

Yes! The Pershing Square Signature Center does have a cafe that serves both beverages and food. All food must be consumed at a cafe table and cannot be brought into the theater.

The cafe’s hours are:
Monday & Tuesday: Closed
Wednesday – Saturday: 4:00pm – 9:30pm
Sunday: 12:00pm – 5:00pm

What if I'm running late to the theater?

We understand these things happen.  Traffic, MTA, or foot traffic can all get in the way of a lovely night at the theater.  Most of our shows start with built in delayed start time to accommodate guests en-route to the show. On top of that, the front of house team works closely with the stage manager to find multiple points of late seating.

If you arrive after the show has begun and late seating is possible, you may be seated in a section that is different then your original seat.

All late seating is at the discretion of House Management. All sales are final.

If I lost my ticket, could I still come see the show?

Yes! If you lost your ticket, you will be required to present the credit card that you used to purchase the tickets or a Photo ID that matches the name the tickets are being held under at Will Call. If you purchased your tickets at the box office and need them reprinted, please visit the Will Call desk no earlier than one hour prior to curtain with valid ID. Please note that tickets will only be reprinted for the person who ordered the tickets and will be handed directly to The Pershing Square Signature Center House Manager.

How should I dress for The New Group?

Dress code is semi-casual or neat casual.

Can I bring my camera?

No, pictures are NOT permitted inside the theater or of the performance you are seeing.

Why am I no receiving any email notifications from The New Group?

We regularly update our email mailing list to make sure we’re excluding all customers who have requested to no longer received emails from us. You may have unsubscribed directly from an eblast we sent you or requested by phone or message that we remove you from mailing list.
